Yena Seo is a rising junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She first became interested in foreign affairs and human rights as a young elementary school student through her father’s job at the Korean Embassy, and by reading newspapers such as the Washington Post and the New York Times. She was able to explore international relations through her middle school’s Model United Nations club, and she is now an active member and treasurer of her high school’s Model United Nations club (TJMUN), as well as a self-proclaimed “MUNerd”. She hopes to study both journalism and international relations, and has also interned with the Washington Post through its Young Journalists Development Program.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
