Veronica Coffey is an incoming senior from Illinois studying at Indiana University with a major in International Studies and Korean. She is an executive member at Liberty in North Korea at Indiana University and has spent the past year conducting research on women's rights issues in South Korea. This upcoming year, she plans to pursue research focusing on North Korean women's rights in East Asia. Veronica is looking forward to spending her senior year abroad at Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea and hopes to work in the human rights field after graduation.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
