Tiana Lakhani is a rising junior at Stanford University, majoring in International Relations and planning for a prospective MA in East Asian Studies in her Senior Year. Currently, she is serving as a Research Intern with HRNK, using her academic background in global affairs, coupled with professional experience in global corporate law and non-profit management consulting to contribute to HRNK's mission. Proficient in Mandarin, she will leverage her cultural insights gained from extensive travels throughout East Asia. Her studies and personal research have instilled in her a deep understanding of the severity and scope of human rights violations in North Korea. With this knowledge, she is dedicated to raising awareness and formulating effective strategies to improve the human rights situation in North Korea.
