Sook-jin Kim is currently pursuing her Bachelor of International Trade at Incheon National University in South Korea. She currently participates in the WEST program, which provides Korean university students with hands-on internship experience in the United State. The program is sponsored by the South Korean Government. As a Korean student studying international trade and economics, she is interested in learning more about international politics. She specifically wants to learn more about North Korea/South Korea relationships and to find ways to promote human rights in North Korea.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
