SongHee is a senior at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul and double majoring in Consumers and Family Science and Business Administration. Now, She is a participant in WEST program, which is hosted by the Korean and U.S government.
She has been interested in social issues and social responsibility. Especially because of her interests in North Korean defectors, she planned and participated in a project for North Korean defectors for 6 months. Thanks to this experience, her interests in North Korea have increased. While she works at HRNK, she hopes to learn about human rights in a more professional setting and wants to help notify the international society about the real conditions in North Korea. After completing this internship, she wants to be a consultant at the CSR (Corporate Social Relationship) department.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
