Siyeal Lee is a senior at Hanyang University, located in Seoul, South Korea. He is majoring in policy studies and specializing in law, politics, and international development. He hopes to be a humanitarian assistance officer in an international organizations in the future. For that reason, he has mainly studied law and politics at university, and learned about international development by attending many classes and conferences regarding Official Development Assistance. Previously, while working at Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), he supported the Multilateral & Humanitarian Affairs Office by participating in projects related to development issues. 

During his internship here at HRNK, he wants to understand the reality of North Korea people’s human rights and gain experience related to the field of humanitarian assistance.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
