Siena is a student at Stanford University pursuing a major in International Relations or Linguistics and a minor in East Asian Studies with a China focus. She is passionate about foreign affairs, particularly U.S.–East Asia relations and international human rights policy.

Through her involvement in Model United Nations and the study of Mandarin Chinese during high school, Siena developed a strong interest in international diplomacy, human rights advocacy, and East Asian languages and cultures. At Stanford, she continues to build on these interests through advanced language study and coursework focused on global affairs. As a student in Naval ROTC, she has also gained greater exposure to international security issues, including human rights violations and the strategic challenges posed by major nuclear powers such as North Korea.

At HRNK, Siena hopes to deepen her understanding of U.S.-North Korea relations, the human rights situation within North Korea, and the policy approaches aimed at addressing these challenges. She also seeks to gain research and writing experience regarding international issues.
