Samantha Barney is a volunteer ESL teacher for HRNK. She started her career with Darden Corporation after graduating with a bachelor degree in food service and restaurant administration. After working as a restaurant manager for over three years, she decided to move to Korea to teach English. She worked as an English teacher for 18 months before traveling around Asia. Then, she came back to the U.S. to start her graduate degree. While in Washington D.C., she met members of HRNK and was offered a position volunteering. Human rights has always been an important issue for her and she is thrilled to be a part of the organization and to contribute to a very important cause.
