Priscilla Hyangmog Back is currently a rising third-year at the University of Iowa College of Law. Prior to law school, she earned dual degrees in Economics and Music and a minor in Asian American Studies from the University of Connecticut, then worked in logistics at LX Pantos USA. During law school, she interned with the Office of the Federal Defenders for the District of Connecticut and participated in the Human Rights Initiative Clinic at the University of Iowa College of Law. Her interest in human rights issues in North Korea began in elementary school after attending a screening of Crossing.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
