Myunghoon (Hoonie) Kim is currently a senior at Langley High School. While at Langley, he was actively involved in Langley’s nationally ranked Model United Nations team, wherein he developed an interest for international issues, especially regarding North Korea. Through Model United Nations, and through several simulated interactions with the North Korean government, he now has an understanding of the political aspect of the North Korean issue. 

Interning at the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea, Hoonie Kim wishes to expand his knowledge on North Korea in areas beyond that of politics, especially the human rights violations committed by the North Korean government.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
