Research Intern
  • Autumn 2014 - Winter 2014

Min Jung Kim is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Economics at Underwood International College of Yonsei University. She is in an exchange program at The George Washington University, hoping to gain insight on international relations, particularly in East Asia and corresponding US policy. Her interest in human rights issues stems from her experience participating in model United Nations conferences where she learned about the serious violations of basic human rights and the severe state oppression in North Korea. After graduation, she wants to build her career in the diplomatic field and work towards the resolution of tensions between the two Koreas. At HRNK, she hopes to gain in-depth knowledge of North Korean human rights and practical solutions to ending the current atrocities.
