Research Intern
  • Spring 2017 - Summer 2017

Kayla (Yeo-Eun) Yoon is a rising senior at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, majoring in culture and politics with a concentration on human rights, multiculturalism, and economic justice. Her interest in North Korean human rights advocacy led to an interest in studying multiculturalism, as she examined societal perception of North Korean defectors and their integration into South Korean society. She will be one of the co-presidents of Georgetown's student organization, Truth and Human Rights in North Korea, in Fall 2017. At HRNK, she hopes to learn about the intersection of research and advocacy, and engage in research projects to contribute to HRNK's work.
