Research Intern
  • Summer 2014 - Summer 2014

Kate Dolgenos is pursuing a BA in Economics and International Relations at Pomona College, where she also studies Korean. In high school, Kate became interested in Korean affairs and participated in a six-week Korean language scholarship program in Seoul funded entirely by the State Department. After graduating from high school, she taught English as a Second Language at a center for immigrants and refugees. Learning about the experiences of her students prompted her interest in human rights issues. At HRNK, Kate hopes to help raise awareness of North Korea's human rights abuses in any way she can.
