Joey Dahl is a graduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he is studying International Security and Economic Policy. His research interests involve U.S. foreign policy, especially on East Asia. He wanted to get involved with human rights issues in North Korea after hearing Justice Michael Kirby speak at an event earlier in the year. Mr. Dahl also hopes to pursue a law degree after completing his Master’s so that he can develop an even greater understanding of how human rights issues are addressed by the international community.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
