Research Intern
  • Summer 2016 - Summer 2016

Jiwon Kim hopes to study Journalism in college. His interest in North Korean human rights stemmed from his father’s involvement in these issues and having to proofread various reports regarding this topic. He was also exposed to issues going on in North Korea through a presentation given by a member from Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) at his local church. As an aspiring journalist, Jiwon hopes to use this internship to improve his overall skills as a journalist while stepping out of his comfort zone and uncovering more truths about North Korea.
