Research Intern
  • Summer 2017 - Winter 2017

Jihye Lee recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Seoul National University with a B.A. in Western History and Business Administration. She participated in a study abroad program to SciencesPo Paris. She has always been interested in human rights issues, especially discrimination against women, sexual minorities, and inequality of education. Lectures and seminars on history of feminism she took in SNU and volunteer work for education in Suwon, Korea, have further strengthened her belief on human rights. As it is important to make a constant effort in promoting human rights, she hopes to contribute to increasing awareness on human rights issues in North Korea and gaining a deeper understanding of North Korea and international relations at HRNK.
