Jana Johnson is currently a senior undergraduate student at Brigham Young University, where she is studying linguistics and editing. She plans to attend law school and particularly wants to work in human rights advocacy and in defense of vulnerable and neglected groups of society. She became interested in North Korean human rights issues after living in Seoul, where she met North Korean defectors and became aware of their situation on a more personal level. Through this internship, she hopes to learn more about human rights advocacy, particularly North Korean human rights.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
