She also studied sociology, psychology and philosophy as part of an interdisciplinary study course.
She studied Criminology and World Politics at University of Kentucky, United States as an exchange student. In the course, she learned about the political system and historical background of North Korea. Most importantly, she realized how much people in North Korea have suffered from poverty and have been deprived of their freedom by their government. She felt a huge responsibility to contribute to bettering their situation and grow a more direct connection with the people as well.
Through HRNK internship, she is looking forward to learning more about North Korea’s human right issues and ways to help them as a student who studies law. She also wants to contribute to the Committee by using her passion and knowledge.
