Hee Jong Choi is a J.D. candidate at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating in May 2016. She is currently participating in the international human rights law program and completing her internship at HRNK as a part of this program. She earned her B.A. in General Korean Law at Kyung Hee University (KHU) in South Korea. Hee Jong recently worked at NK Watch, which works on submitting UN Petitions for human rights violation in North Korea. Her academic goal is concentrated in international human rights and international criminal law. She is pursuing her legal career in order to promote human rights in North Korea.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
