Gyeore Lee is currently a junior undergraduate student majoring in Business Administration at Seoul National University in South Korea. He is also a participant of the Asan Academy Program, which consists of a PPE program (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and internship program in Washington D.C supported by the Asan Institute (in Korea). Although his major is in Business Administration, he also has interests in human rights in North Korea after watching documentary films about North Korean defectors. Through this internship opportunity, he wants to learn more about the situation in North Korea, and more about how NGOs work.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
