Gowun Yoon is a junior at SungKyunKwan Law Scool in Seoul, South Korea. She has a Bachelor of Laws from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and has a professional experience at Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., LTD. At the Hyundai, as an associate member of International Legal Affairs, she reviewed the contracts and negotiated with ordering companies.
She now has an interest on North Korea human rights issues, especially after the enactment of the North Korea Human Right Act in South Korea in 2016. During her internship period at HRNK, she hopes to learn more about the North Korea human rights issues and wants to become a specialized lawyer who can handle the future legal issues to come.
Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored.
