  • Autumn 2013 - Spring 2014

Esther Hur is a junior at The George Washington University studying International Affairs, concentrating in Asian Studies and minoring in Creative Writing. With her East Asian concentration, she hopes to better understand the social constructs across Asia specifically. She first became interested in North Korean human rights when the press began covering the living conditions and consistent violations. Through her internship at HRNK, she hopes to voice these violations that North Koreans themselves cannot.
