Research Intern
  • Winter 2018 - Spring 2018

Emma Stubblefield is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, double-majoring in Global Studies and Peace, War, and Defense, with concentrations in International Relations in Asia and International Security and Intelligence. She is also working towards a Korean minor.

Emma has always been interested in the Korean conflict due to its unique nature, but she discovered a newfound passion for the subject after studying abroad at Korea University in Seoul and taking a course about the history between North and South Korea. At HRNK she hopes to continue her education on the history of North Korea and the inner workings of their government and society, while also gaining further insight into their violations of human rights.
