Britt Robinson is a second year MA student at The George Washington University Elliott School for International Affairs. She specializes in Korean peninsula affairs, gender, human rights, and nonprofit management. With a well-rounded background on the Korean peninsula, Britt served as an American delegate for the Korean American Student Conference in Seoul and collaborated with her peers to develop bilateral U.S.- South Korea environmental policy proposals. In 2018, she interned on the development team for Liberty in North Korea, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that assists in rescuing and resettling North Korean refugees.
A two-time FLAS Fellow recipient, Britt completed her Korean language study at Middlebury College Korean Language School. Since starting her graduate program, she has been published in The Diplomat and International Affairs Review and is excited to continue to refine her research and writing during her time at HRNK. In her free time, you can find her at the local theatre or volunteering at the League of Women Voters in D.C. Through this internship she intends to balance her grassroots activist knowledge of North Korean issues and further her policy and research skills to accelerate change on the Korean peninsula.
