Bomi Im is currently a senior in Korea University in Seoul, South Korea, majoring in Sociology. She is also an Asan Washington Young Fellow, a member of the Asan Academy, which offers the combination of PPE (Philosophy, Politics, Economics) education and a D.C. internship program.

Her prior work experience includes an internship at Dong-a Daily, a major Korean newspaper. As a student preparing to be a journalist, she developed her interest in HRNK while reading news articles and has been interested in North Korea related issues, especially human rights.

Internship Application

Successful applicants will undergo a formal interview process before being offered an internship. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. We strongly recommend that applicants apply at least 3 months prior to their anticipated start date. Internships are typically unpaid, but academic credit is honored. A minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week is preferred. Please upload your documents in the .doc format.
