Research Intern
  • Winter 2013 - Spring 2013

Andrea Larsen Torjussen is currently an undergraduate student in Political Science at the University of Oslo, Norway. This spring she is enrolled in the Washington Semester Program at American University, and studies International Law and Organizations. Her studies in Political Science, and now International Law, have been the key influences for her interests in Human Rights and North Korea. In addition to being a full time student, Andrea has worked as a journalist for the political magazine at the University of Oslo. Her passion for writing, human rights and international law led her to HRNK. During her internship at HRNK she hopes to learn more about North Korea, and how an organization can work to promote human rights in North Korea. After the semester in Washington DC, Andrea plans to finish her Political Science degree, and eventually work for international human rights NGOs.
