Join Georgetown Truth and Human Rights in North Korea (THiNK) and the School of Foreign Service Asian Studies Program for our 4th Annual Conference on North Korea. This year’s conference, ‘The North Korean Endgame: Where do we go from here?’, assesses the current state of North Korea from strategic, geopolitical, and human rights standpoints. The conference will feature a frank discussion on the necessary policy steps to take going forward. Distinguished North Korea experts, activists, and defectors will engage in discussions regarding North Korean nuclear weapons, sanctions, UN resolutions, high level defections, and human rights, with the purpose of laying a practical framework for pursuing and preparing for the North Korean endgame. Georgetown students will serve as moderators for these discussions. Mai Thai will be catered.
The event will take place on Friday, February 17th, from 10:00 am to 4:45 pm in the Fisher Colloquium room in the McDonough School of Business.
