Arts Along the Ohio welcomes an author with a plan – Kwang Suh's 4 Measures for the Unification of the Korean Peninsula – to a dinner and talk at Destinations Booksellers on Tuesday, March 15, at 5:30 p.m.
For more than seventy years, the Korean Peninsula has been divided into the two Koreas. As a young child, Kwang H. Suh and his family fled from North Korea to South Korea, where his family started a new life.
Today, the pain of family separation still continues to plague families in the northern and southern part of the Korean Peninsula.
Kwang Suh has actively engaged himself in the political community of South Korea, advocating for a political solution to the reuniting of Korean families. For more than forty years, he worked for and dreamed of One Korea.
Taco Steve will be offering a new Korean specialty taco for this special dinnertime author event. A dinner purchase is optional. Suh will present his insights and sign copies of his new book afterward.
