In light of the recent regime change in North Korea, THiNK (Truth and Human Rights in North Korea) hosted a speaker panel at Georgetown University to inform and to create a discussion about one of the world's most dangerous countries. This panel featured distinguished and well-esteemed scholars in the field: Greg Scarlatoiu, Victor Cha, Roberta Cohen, and Sarah Yun. Each speaker shared his/her unique perspective on the impact and significance of the regime change on the lives of everyday North Koreans.

On September 18, 2015, HRNK launched two reports. The first report, authored by David Hawk, is The Hidden Gulag IV: Gender Repression and Prisoner Disappearances. The second report was in collaboration with AllSource Analysis to update satellite imagery analysis of Camp 15. â€‹The featured speakers include David Hawk, Joseph S. Bermudez Jr., Roberta Cohen, Gwang-il Jung, and Greg Scarlatoiu.

This report is part of a comprehensive long-term project undertaken by HRNK to use satellite imagery to shed light on human suffering in the DPRK (more commonly known as North Korea) by monitoring activity at political prison and detention facilities throughout the nation. The Committee for Human Rights in North Korea (HRNK), a non-governmental organization based in Washington, D.C., has launched a report entitled North Korea: Imagery Analysis of Kyo-hwa-so No. 12, Jŏngŏ-ri - Update 3.
